Welcome to Fixal - AI Photo Enhancer ("App"). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our App. We are committed to transparency, especially regarding our use of artificial intelligence (AI) for image processing, in full compliance with Google Play's policies, including the 2025 updates on AI-generated content.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Data Controller

The App is provided and controlled by Fixal ("we", "us", or "our"). For any privacy-related questions, you can contact us at: support@fixal.ai.

2. Information We Collect and Use

We minimize data collection to provide and improve our services. We may collect the following information:

• User Account Data (Optional): If you choose to log in with your Google account, we store a unique identifier and your email address to manage your account and sync your preferences across devices. You can request the deletion of this data at any time (see Section 6).

• Photos for Processing: When you use AI enhancement features, you select and upload photos from your device. These photos are temporarily transmitted to our secure third-party AI service provider solely for the purpose of applying the requested edits (e.g., beautification, background removal, style transfer). We do not access your entire photo library.

• Automatically Collected Information: Like most apps, we collect non-personal, anonymized data to analyze crashes and improve performance (e.g., device model, OS version). For advertising, we use Google AdMob, which may collect your Advertising ID to serve personalized ads. You can manage your ad preferences in your device settings.

• Purchase Information: All in-app purchases are processed directly by Google Play. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment details. Please refer to Google's privacy policy for their handling of financial data.

3. How We Use AI and Process Your Photos

Our Core Principle: We do not use your photos or data to train our own or any third-party AI models. Your photos are processed for your requested task and then deleted.

• Third-Party AI Processing: All AI-based photo editing is performed by our trusted partner, AILabTools. When you use a feature, your selected photo is securely sent to their servers, processed according to your command, and the enhanced result is sent back to your device. AILabTools is contractually obligated to delete your photo immediately after processing.

• No Retention of Photos: We do not permanently store, share, or claim ownership of the photos you upload for editing. Processed images are temporarily cached on your device for your convenience but are not retained on our servers.

• AI-Generated Content Responsibility: We comply with Google Play's policy that holds developers responsible for AI-generated content in their apps. Our AI tools are designed for creative enhancement and are not intended to generate misleading, harmful, or illegal content. We implement safeguards to prevent the generation of such material.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information under these limited circumstances:

• With Service Providers: With our AI processing partner (AILabTools) and analytics/ads provider (Google AdMob) as necessary to operate the App. These partners are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.

• For Legal Reasons: If required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

• With Your Consent: In any other case, only with your explicit permission.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

• Uploaded Photos: Deleted from our third-party processor's servers immediately after enhancement.

• Account Data: Stored as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data via the in-app function or by contacting us.

• Log and Analytics Data: Retained in an aggregated, non-personally identifiable form for up to 12 months.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have control over your data:

• Access & Deletion: You can request to see or delete your personal data by emailing support@fixal.ai.

• Account Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all linked data within the App settings.

• Opt-Out of Ads: You can reset your advertising identifier or opt-out of personalized ads through your device settings (e.g., "Opt out of Ads Personalization" on Android).

• Report AI Content: In line with platform policies, if you encounter AI-generated content within the App that you believe is offensive or harmful, please report it to us immediately at support@fixal.ai.

7. Children's Privacy

Our App is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.

9. Security

We implement industry-standard measures to protect your data during transmission and storage. However, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect changes. We encourage you to review this policy occasionally.
